What is sync.day?
sync.day is a free tool for finding a time that works for everyone. You describe the plan, get one short link, and send it to the group. Each person opens the link, taps the start times they can make, and the page ranks the times by how many people are free. No sign-up, no app, nothing to install.

- Is sync.day free? Do people need to sign up?
- Yes, it’s free, and nobody signs up, the organizer included. People type a name once and the browser remembers them on that device.
- How is this different from When2meet or Doodle?
- Same idea, less friction: no accounts, one short link that’s easy to say out loud, a form that fills itself in from one sentence, and a phone layout that isn’t a shrunken grid. It also ranks start times for an event of a given length, not just free hours.
- Does it work on phones?
- Yes. On a phone you swipe through the days and tap start times in a list; on a computer you can drag across the grid. There is nothing to install.
- Can an AI assistant schedule for me?
- Yes. sync.day is a public MCP server: connect it to Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or your own agent, and the assistant can create the event, fill in availability and read the ranking for you.
- Is my data private?
- Events live on unlisted links that search engines don’t index. The link is random and hard to guess, but anyone who has it can open the event, so share it with your group rather than posting it publicly. There are no accounts, and the server keeps only a hash of each person’s device key, never a password or an email address.
- How far ahead can I plan, and for how long?
- Up to 21 days per event, any hours you like, with start times every 30 or 60 minutes. Changing the settings later keeps what people already picked.
- What happens once everyone has answered?
- As soon as two or more people have answered, the page lists the start times that work for everyone and lets people vote on them. The organizer settles the time with one tap and can undo it.
Works with your AI assistant
sync.day is also an MCP server. Add it to Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT and say “set up dinner next Saturday afternoon, about 3 hours” — the assistant creates the event and hands you the link.
